Building on Elementary Unplugged CS through Books, this workshop continues integrating literature with computer science concepts to deepen computational thinking skills. Through engaging stories, participants will explore key topics such as algorithms, debugging, data representation, control structures, and computing systems. Unplugged activities will reinforce concepts like sequencing, binary encoding, conditionals, and networking, providing hands-on strategies that align with the Praxis CS (5652) exam and New Jersey’s certification requirements.

Teachers will leave with ready-to-use lessons that merge storytelling and CS fundamentals to create meaningful, accessible learning experiences for elementary students.

Instructor: Michelle Wendt
