CS Coastal Workshop - Teaching AP CSP with CMU CS Academy
In this interactive 2-part webinar, high school teachers will explore how to effectively teach AP Computer Science Principles (AP CSP) using CMU CS Academy.
Participants will get hands-on experience with the platform’s engaging curriculum, which features interactive coding exercises, auto-graded assignments, and real-time feedback.
The session will cover key AP CSP concepts, strategies for classroom implementation, and best practices for supporting student success. By the end, educators will have the tools and confidence to bring high-quality, Python-based computer science instruction to their classrooms.
No prior coding experience required! Previous Unplugged CS workshop attendees not eligible to participate for stipend.

Please note: This workshop is intended for PK-12 teachers from New Jersey Public Schools. This workshop is part of a grant-funded project, the CS Coastal Hub, and is available at NO COST to attend. Teachers attending workshops after-school or in the summer will receive a stipend from the CS Coastal Hub.
