Description: This conference is a day of insight, inspiration, and connection where we explore the power participants can possess with an Ed.D. and how the degree propels professionals into impactful roles across education, business, law enforcement, consulting, and beyond that redefine leadership across sectors.
Who should attend: Anyone interested in understanding the potential career paths of recipients of an Ed.D., including current master’s degree students, those who already hold a master's and/or Ed.D. degree, employers who may be interested in hiring individuals with an Ed.D., and those who started their doctorate but did not finish. Anyone desiring to understand the concept of scholarly practitionership.
Dr. Ana Edmonson - Assistant Vice President, Student Transitions, Access & Retention
Camden native, EOF, and TRIO alumna member that serves as the Assistant Vice President for Student Transitions, Access and Retention Programs oversees Student Transition Programs, Academic Achievement Programs, Career Education, and Development Office, EOF, and Military and Veteran Services.
For five years, she taught a course titled, Inclusive Student Transitions, which was designated as an R1 course. She brings over 14 years of experience leading inclusive student success programs that aims to increase retention and close equity gaps at three different universities including Saint Peter’s University, Rutgers University, and Stockton University. Dr. Edmondson completed her doctorate in education at Rutgers University, her masters' degree in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University-Teachers College, and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
Dr. Haley Baum - Assistant Vice President for Student Advocacy, Belonging & Campus Standards/Dean of Student
Over 10 years of higher education experience; on staff at Stockton since 2011; served as Assistant Director of Student Development; and Associate Director of Residential Life; additionally serves as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Education teaching Leadership, Strategy and Change; active in professional organizations and research capacities.
