CS Coastal Hub Workshop - Introduction to Python

The Introduction to Python 1-Day Workshop is a comprehensive and hands-on training program designed to introduce the fundamentals of the Python programming language to the complete beginner.

This is a perfect workshop for any teachers wishing to facilitate their students through the transition from block coding to real coding. Or, for anyone who simply wants to get started with Python. We will cover basic syntax, using variables, conditionals, loops, and functions. We will also look at a few options for Python compilers both online and on the ultra-affordable Raspberry Pi.

Throughout the workshop, participants will engage in practical exercises and coding challenges that will reinforce the concepts covered. The workshop is structured to be interactive and collaborative, encouraging participants to ask questions, share their ideas, and learn from one another.
