CS Coastal Hub Workshop - Hands-On with Robots and Physical Computing (Previously Day 2 of the CORE)
Get to know the engaging world of physical computing! This experience introduces educators to a wide range of classroom-friendly tools like Blue Bots, Micro:bits, Finches, Hummingbirds, and Spheros. Learn how to use these devices to enhance learning and creativity across disciplines and walk away with actionable ideas to bring coding and robotics into your students’ hands. Educators will align their instruction to the NJSLS-CS standards (8.1.2.CS through 8.1.12.CS) by addressing computing systems, algorithms, and computational thinking through creative, accessible activities.

Please note: This workshop is intended for PK-12 teachers from New Jersey Public Schools. This workshop is part of a grant-funded project, the CS Coastal Hub, and is available at NO COST to attend. Teachers attending workshops after-school or in the summer will receive a stipend from the CS Coastal Hub.
