In this workshop, computer science and music teachers will explore EarSketch, an platform that combines Python coding with music production. Tailored for grades 6-12, the session will introduce participants to using Python within EarSketch to create engaging music-driven lessons.

Learn how to integrate EarSketch into both computer science and music curricula, empowering students to develop coding skills while composing original music. By the end of the workshop, teachers will have hands-on experience creating projects and practical ideas for classroom implementation. No prior coding or music experience is required.

Please note: This workshop is intended for teachers from New Jersey Public Schools. This workshop is part of a grant-funded project, the CS Coastal Hub, and is available at NO COST to attend. Teachers attending workshops after-school or in the summer will receive a stipend from the CS Coastal Hub.
