CS Coastal Hub Workshop - Cyber Security with Robotics
Cybersecurity isn’t just for IT professionals; it’s a critical skill for all students to develop. This full-day, hands-on workshop empowers K–12 teachers to explore cybersecurity concepts through interactive robotics activities using Ozobots and Spheros. Participants will learn how to make abstract cybersecurity ideas like data privacy, digital citizenship, and secure coding both fun and meaningful for students across grade levels.
Throughout the day, educators will experience the cybersecurity-focused lessons embedded in Ozobot and Sphero curricula and discover how these tools can bring real-world digital safety practices into the classroom. Teachers will leave with ready-to-use lesson plans, alignment to Computer Science standards, and strategies to adapt cybersecurity learning for students of all ages.
