Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm

Take your LittleBits STEAM+ Coding Kit skills to the next level with a hands-on design challenge that pushes the boundaries of invention, coding, and problem-solving!

This workshop is designed to support educators in meeting the new eligibility requirements to teach computer science as outlined in N.J.A.C. 6A:9B and align with competencies assessed in the Praxis Computer Science (5652) exam.

Participants will apply computational thinking skills to debug and optimize their inventions, explore advanced programming concepts (such as loops, conditionals, and event-driven programming) using the LittleBits Fuse app, and integrate engineering design principles to iterate and improve prototypes. Through real-world design challenges, participants will work within constraints to develop innovative solutions, fostering collaboration, teamwork, and creativity. Whether designing a smart alarm system, an interactive wearable, or an eco-friendly automation, participants will test, refine, and optimize their creations
