CS Coastal Hub Workshop - Python Programming Workshop - Part 2: Beyond the Basics
In this online series workshop, participants will build on their foundational Python knowledge by diving into more advanced topics. Expanding on variables, loops, conditionals, and functions from Part 1, this session will introduce lists, arrays, dictionaries and file handling.
Educators will engage in hands-on coding exercises, explore real-world applications, and develop problem-solving skills to enhance their teaching.
By the end, attendees will have a deeper understanding of Python and practical strategies for integrating these concepts into their classrooms.
Prior attendance in Part 1 or basic Python knowledge is recommended.
Audience: Grades 7-12 Teachers

Please note: This workshop is intended for teachers from New Jersey Public Schools. This workshop is part of a grant-funded project, the CS Coastal Hub, and is available at NO COST to attend. Teachers attending workshops after-school or in the summer will receive a stipend from the CS Coastal Hub.
