Climate Change Learning Collaborative - Impact of Climate Change on Small and Mid-Sized Urban Areas

Join Center for Aquatic Sciences educators for this hands-on opportunity to explore the effects and impact of climate change on small and mid-sized urban areas in New Jersey. Elements will include the effects of extreme weather on local ecosystems, water quality, pollution, human impacts, and stewardship opportunities and advocacy. Teachers will participate in hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and resource-sharing sessions that will provide innovative and specific tools for teaching about climate change and its impact on South Jersey's urban communities.

Please note: This workshop is intended for teachers from New Jersey Public Schools. All CCLC workshops are available at no cost but pre-registration is required.
